Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how you use the site.
When we refer to "cookies" in this policy, we also include similar technologies that store or access information on your device:
- Cookies — Small text files stored in your browser with a name, value, and expiration date
- Pixels / Web Beacons — Tiny transparent images embedded in pages or emails that track whether content was viewed or a link was clicked
- Local Storage — Browser storage that persists data without an expiration date, used for preferences and campaign attribution
- Session Storage — Similar to local storage but cleared when you close your browser tab
This policy covers all of these technologies as used on loopfuel.com and within the LoopFuel platform.
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies across four categories, each serving a distinct purpose:
- Essential / Strictly Necessary — Required for the site to function. These handle authentication, security, and storing your cookie preferences. They are always active and cannot be disabled.
- Functional / Preference — Remember your settings like theme, language, and layout preferences. These make your experience more convenient but are not strictly required.
- Analytics / Performance — Help us understand how visitors interact with LoopFuel so we can identify issues and improve the product. These require your consent.
- Marketing / Advertising — Enable us to measure the effectiveness of our ad campaigns, retarget visitors with relevant ads on other platforms, and build lookalike audiences. These require your explicit consent.

8. How to Control Cookies via Browser
In addition to our cookie consent tool, most web browsers allow you to manage cookies directly through their settings. You can block or delete cookies, clear browsing data, and set preferences for specific websites.

- Analytics cookies are disabled — We will not load Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Microsoft Clarity
- Marketing cookies are disabled — We will not load Meta Pixel, Google Ads tags, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or Twitter/X Pixel
- Essential and functional cookies remain active — These are necessary for the site to work and your preferences to be remembered
We treat a DNT signal the same as if you had rejected non-essential cookies through our consent banner. You do not need to do both.

- Google, Meta, X Corp, and Mixpanel may process cookie data in the United States

- Equivalent safeguards as required by applicable data protection laws
